Objectives of WAPCP

WAPCP Annual General Meeting (AGM) is held once a year in one of the member countries (Ghana, Liberia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone or The Gambia) often on rotational basis. Membership at the meeting is made up of members of the Council and all Fellows of the College.

In accordance with article 6 of the constitution of the college, the powers and duties of the AGM are as follows:

To ratify Board of Examiners;
To ratify External Examiners;
To approve Educational Research Institutions and other facilities deemed relevant for training for College programs in West Africa
To ratify admission of Fellows and Members of the College;
To make bye-laws, regulations and standing orders for the conduct of the business of the College including election to Council;
To publish books, pamphlets, journals and other information as may assist in realizing the objectives and goals of the College; and
To engage in all such activities as may be considered necessary in furtherance of the objectives and goals of the College.
